WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A ZERO BALANCING SESSION
It typically begins with a discussion about your current state of health and what you would like to achieve from the session. Prior to arrival, give some thought to your wellness needs and goals. For example, are you looking for stress reduction or to release some tension held in your body? You will sit for a short evaluation and then lie on your back fully clothed on a comfortable massage table. Your practitioner will assess your body, especially bones and joints, and then use gentle finger pressure, either compression or traction, in areas around the spine, ribs, feet, and neck. This allows your body to soothingly relax and release tension being held in those areas. By aligning the energy moving through your bones and joints and dissolving old patterns, the client's own energy will be released back to them. Your mind and body will then have a restored sense of harmony and balance. An expansive experience of wellness throughout the entire mind and body will be experienced once again.
A session lasts about 45 minutes. After the session the practitioner will give you a few minutes to relax and then ask you to walk a bit to integrate the work. This gives you an opportunity to notice and absorb any subtle changes or shifts that might have taken place during the session. Zero Balancing takes you into a deep relaxing state which is similar to meditation, so it is helpful to walk back and forth for a few minutes to enable a smooth transition into the rest of your day. When you schedule an appointment either with me or online, you should receive a confirmation e-mail shortly. Appointments are 60 minutes long and they are scheduled within 75 minute periods so that we will not feel rushed.
